Most carpet manufacturers, including Shaw Industries which is the largest carpet manufacturer in the world, recommend the hot water extraction method of carpet cleaning for most carpets. This method removes soil that has filtered below the surface and assures you of clean fibers and healthful removal of allergens and bacteria. Truck mounted systems have a more powerful vacuum for better removal of the cleaning solution and soil and temperatures that will kill germs and yet not damage stain resistant carpets. The cleaning solution is applied with the correct pressure to facilitate soil removal, but prevent overwetting.We provide our own pre-softened, heated water with uniquely formulated cleaning agents. The correct temperature and Ph balanced cleaning agents assure you of soil removal, while maintaining the stain blocking properties of your carpet. Most homes should have carpets cleaned once a year or more often–when they look dirty it has been too long! Most carpet warranties require professional cleaning every 12-18 months.
Carpets should dry between 2-6 hours, depending on the air movement in the home, temperature and how soiled carpets were prior to cleaning.
